Naps are for Sissies

Why is it that my perfect little napper little s goes down without a fight everyday after lunch, but I fight with Miss L the entire time to just lay down. But then about 5 minutes prior to little s waking up, Miss L gives it up and actually goes to sleep. And why, when I reached a point in my life where I want to take a nap will my children not allow me to? Is this mom ever going to get a nap?
