I'm still alive

I really haven't dropped off the face of the earth. I am slowly recouping from the holidays which included a 5 day trip to my mom's, multiple Christmas celebrations around town crammed into two days and a not so exciting New Years. No clue where my camera is, so no pics. I have been trying to stay away from the computer so that I can actually get stuff done around here. I have been reading your posts, but not been in much of a commenting mood lately. Sorry, but I will make up for it later. PROMISE.

Working on my New Year's resolution/goal of getting all the crap out of my house and living more organized. So far so good, and we even have our first special trash pick up scheduled for next week. I have even noticed Mr. B's effort toward creating a clutterless home. I think hell may have froze over.

Since we could not get a sitter for New Year's eve, we had a date night Friday night. Our first stop was Lowes to get a new kitchen faucet and pipes. Now I know I am officially old and married. Dinner and a movie was relaxing and very enjoyable since I actually got to eat while we were in the restaurant without stopping every two seconds to take care of someone else.

Next week is suppose to be my last week of work. Although I was told this would be weather permitting. Is my boss trying her hardest to find a way to get to stay? You probably won't be hearing from me until next weekend since I will be officially sitting on my butt eating bonbons all day (that's what SAHMs do right?).
