I really need to move.

The girls and I were headed to my car around 5 pm today to do some grocery shopping and pick my little sister up from work. My car had been broken into. This is twice in one year. They took my girls disney dvd players. Their birthday present that my mom got them this past spring. I'm starting to get over it, but my poor Miss L keeps asking me about them. I hope whoever did this feels really good about how pathetic they are stealing from a three year old.

Home Sweet Home

We are finally home. It has been a long week. I am exhausted and ready for bed, but need to put my house back in order. Catch you up on all the weeks adventures and happenings tomorrow if you are lucky.

Happy Thanksgiving

Headed out of town tonight to my mom's for the week. Hope every one's Turkey Day is full of family, friends and lots of food. Not sure how much Internet access I will have will gone, but don't think I will not be trying to steal from a neighbor.

It is really hard to make your 3 year old sleep in her own bed when you wake up and she is sound asleep in the middle of yours. Seriously how does her climbing into my bed over at least one adult and snuggling into the middle not wake either of us up? And how do you justify to the other who is still in a crib that it is ok for your sis to sleep where she wants, but you are trapped in your bed?

Twins, Twins & Sextuplets

Did you happen to catch the show on after Jon & Kate +8 last night? Twins, Twins and Sextuplets. I was pretty impressed with this family. There kids were allowed to be just kids, and it was enjoyable watching them do so. I will not compare them to the other sextuplet family on TLC, because I would not want my family compared to another. I believe that you have to figure out what works for your family and go with.

I would however like to point out a moment in the show that brought tears to my eyes. One of the older boys (couldn't tell you which one) started to describe his sister. One of the sextuplet girls has cerebral palsy. The older brother said that so many things could have gone wrong with the sextuplets, but she took it all for them. "She took one for the team."

So if you didn't catch this show last night, I hope you get a chance to see it. Not sure if it will turn into a series, but with the way TLC has been shelling out the big bucks on big families lately I'm sure it will.

Hungry kids, but we can just give handouts to multi-million dollar companies. This just doesn't add up to me.

Twitter?

I am slow. I usually open an account on the latest networking site wait a few months, try it again and get addicted. Facebook, My Space, Blogger. Just to name a few of my daily time consuming addictions. Same goes with Twitter. Do you twitter? I went back to my original account today. I think I will be visiting there more often. So if you are a twitterer come check me out.

I Hate Cold

It's Monday yuck! I have been up and down since 3:45 am. I really just want to roll over and sleep. My kids are being entertained by Noggin, hundreds of toys, poptarts and juice in the living room. I am sure the baskets of neatly folded towels and clothes are doing the job also. Something I am sure I will be pissed about when I walk back in there.

The cold has finally set in here. I hate it. The only thing of comfort I have is hot chocolate. My poor kids rarely get out of the house. I feel so sorry for them since they have a recluse mom once the weather turns cold. I only step outside if necessary, plus I hate cramming a bundled up kid into a car seat. It's not fun for me or them.

The Good, The Bad & All The In Between

Today has started a little strange. I will start by saying that I was in shock after reading this blog last night. I can not imagine what she going through. Kaycee has popped in my head multiple times since then and when she does I say a prayer for her. If this is not one of your blog regulars, you should add it to your list.

We did the whole "school" routine this morning. Not sure that I have covered this before, but "school" is really and exercise class at the mall for 2-5 year olds. It is $2.50 for an hour class. I had to run by the ATM for cash to pay for the class on the way. Apparently I did not put my card back in my wallet, and it fell between my legs. I figured this out at the mall when I went to pay for a shirt and it was not there. Luckily I had enough cash, but I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest as we ran back to the car, praying it was there. It was in plain sight laying on the drivers seat.

I went to sign up for a booth for a craft show next weekend. They lost one of there locations and trying to cram everyone into one building. So there is a waiting list. I was not in the mood to pay $50 to be on a waiting list since there are a few other things I want to check out first.

Everywhere we went today my baby proved that she was Miss Independent. Little s fought with all her might not to have to get in her stroller. She refused to ride in the cart. I did let her walk some and for the most part she stays pretty close and tries to hold hands. I am just not ready for her to be so big. She is only 18 months old, but thinks she can do everything her big sis does.

On our way home we hit the McDonald's drive through. I got to the window to pay and the guy said, "It's your lucky day. The lady in front of you paid for your food." I did not believe him and thought he was just joking, but he wasn't. I can not figure out who it could be. So if for some reason you did this, and you drive a white mustang GT - Thank you so much! You made my day. I really feel like I owe someone, a pay it forward type thing. So I am sure the opportunity will present itself.

And for a little Friday Foto Fun, here are my girls sleeping together last night. They are really starting to become inseparable. I hope they always are so close. No judging the 3 1/2 year old with a binky. We have tried, really tried. But I also like to sleep, and this is the only way we do it decently.

Who are we really bailing out?

I don't know about you, but the more I hear about this bailout, I want to puke. Seriously bonuses and luxurious vacations, I mean "conferences", these people make way more than what the average American can only dream of. They should feel pretty crapy about spending that money when I am sure on the same day they are out on a shopping spree some one is being kicked out of their home. Is this for real? Are the people who got us into this mess really getting a bonus?

My true stay at home days maybe far away. For the last week my co-worker that is my day time equivalent has had dr. appt. after dr. appt. The possibility of cancer is now in the picture. I feel so selfish, thinking about myself and my plans for all my new free time. Everything is up in the air right now, we are still looking to hire someone for my position. And if my co-worker has to take a leave of absence, I will more than likely be hanging around my job for awhile to fill in as needed. Not sure what all that will involve, and I am praying for her sake that this all seems to turn into to nothing. Pajamas sound comfy, but the battle she is about to face is unimaginable.

I got really caught up with painting, jumped in the shower 5 minutes before I was supposed to be at work. Ended up being 30 minutes late. Now I am sitting here and I don't ever remember brushing my teeth. I am super disgusted and on the verge of a freak out. I really hope no one notices the gunk on my teeth.

More Points for Me

I got a little frustrated with Mr. B this morning. Since I did not clean the other day, I started at it again this morning. I asked him how he could just lay on the couch and watch me do a hundred things. Did it not cross his mind to get up and do something? So he got up and started cleaning including mopping, washing walls and scrubbing the tub. Then he started in asking about repainting the living room today. I was shocked since I have been begging for this for months. So he is off to Lowes to get the supplies while I am cleaning out the living room. Better go for now, so I can have everything done and he has no excuses when he gets home.

Gave Up On Cleaning

And did this instead.

Clean Up, clean up, everybody do your share....

Or your mom/wife will do it for you and be ticked about it.

UGHHH! I am stressed. I hate cleaning and my house is disgusting. I end up getting really angry at the people who made the mess and usually wind up throwing stuff away in the process. Praying I make it through the day without biting any one's head off. Well actually it might be to late for that. Maybe I will hope not to kill anyone. Nap time isn't coming fast enough today.

Thanks in Advance

I am looking for ways to boost my sales at Once Upon A Dream. Are there any items that you would be interested in? Colors that I may have over looked? I love feedback and would appreciate any. Hopefully once my replacement is found at work, I will be able to devote more time to making bows and other accessories.

Miss Lism

"Last Day" = Yesterday or any previous day.

Miss L forgets nothing. She is constantly amazing me as she describes an event that happened over a year ago in perfect detail. Usually I don't even remember it until she refreshes my memory. These jolts down memory lane begin like this, "Remember last day......". I have yet to correct her with the appropriate wording, and I will hate the day that she is no longer using "last day" in her vocabulary. It brings a smile to my face every time I hear her say it.

So do your kids have any cute, but incorrect sayings?

Today...

Today as I awoke, I already knew the outcome. For some reason I am at peace with it. I am not sure why. As I laid my head down last night, thoughts of anger and fear consumed me, imagining the worst for my country. But today those thoughts are gone. I am not anxious or overwhelmed that my candidate did not win.

I feel pride in my country that our democracy was put on display for the world to see yesterday. I think they saw the value of our freedom as pictures of my fellow citizens standing in line waiting to cast their votes flashed across their TV screens.

I am looking forward to the future, for my children's sake, and hope that our new president will keep America the best place to live. I am also hoping that he finds a way to hold up all his promises, well maybe not some of them.

So on January 20th I will do my part. I will stand behind our President and pray that God will guide his decisions according to His plan.

Day Light Savings Time - Ughhh!

Who ever invented day light savings time, obviously did not have kids. My early bird, Miss L, has started the last two days off before 7 am. I prefer 8, but can live with 7. As the sun said good night I seriously contemplated putting the girls to bed at 5:30pm. I really could no longer take it, and heck if it is dark, would they really know the difference? But then I figured they would be up really early this morning, so I put a stop to that plan. Hopefully their little bodies will adjust soon, or we may need to move to Hawaii. Did you know they don't have day light savings time there?

PS - Don't forget to VOTE tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend. We had a date night last night, dinner and a Halloween party at a friends house. I have been really tired and worn on the last few days. Not sure what is going on and hoping to get some energy back soon. Looking for something interesting to post, not really anything unless you count my hair dryer dying yesterday. Yeah, not ground breaking news.
