Wordy Wednesday - One Handsome, Cool Dude

This wordless Wednesday is including some words, because I owe you a blog post. I was never a fan of all the onesies that said stuff for the girls. But there is not much out there for boys and some are pretty cute.
We are all still doing pretty good. Little man is eating like crazy lately so I am sure we have hit our first growth spurt. Of course I want him to grow, but eating all night is not too good for this mom's sanity. I will survive and probably wish these days were back once he starts running around and getting into stuff.
The girls are loving on the brother any time they get a chance. Little s calls him "my baby" and Miss L thinks she can pick him up on her own. Something I didn't have to worry about last time, but it is giving me a heart attack now.
For now I must go and give him a bath, get him fed and everyone loaded up for preschool pickup. By the way, I don't know what I did before preschool. I would be going insane if it wasn't for Mon, Wed and Fri.

We're Great!

It's Friday, my baby boy will be one week old tomorrow. I want him to stay just like he is forever. I am so in love. The misery of pregnancy has completely left my memories. He was so worth all the mood swings, almost peeing my pants, and general uncomfortableness. I can't imagine my life without him.

He went with me this morning to run errands which included grocery shopping at two different stores. It felt as though I was shopping alone. No one wanted in and out of the cart every two minutes, grabbed stuff from shelves or asked to have everything they saw. I walked leisurely and slowly through the aisles instead of the full speed ahead, get me out of here before I scream at my kids approach I normally take.

I am also enjoying watching Mr. B with him. He is one proud Papa to say the least. Although he has always said he wanted girls with both Miss L and little s, it is true that a Dad wants a little boy. I have to fight him just to hold him sometimes. He wants to show him off to everyone. He even asked to take him hunting tomorrow. (So not happening!)

The girls are doing great with him also. I really haven't had any jealous outburst from either of them. The are very gentle and rarely do they have to be reminded. little s calls him her baby.

All in all things are much easier and going a lot better than what I had imagined. Not sure where all my energy is coming from either. I am not really tired, but still a little sore. But ask me next week when Mr. B goes back to work I am sure I will be a lot more stressed.

For now, I will leave you with some pics.

Yes they do little man and don't you forget it!

He's Coming...

Headed to the hospital at 7pm tonight for an induction. I have been so miserable the last few days, and I went to my appt. this morning asking to be induced next week (thinking Wed). I have been having contraction 10 minutes apart since Tues. afternoon. The doc's response, "How about tonight?" Which actually works out better since we have grandparents off all weekend. So arrangements have been made for the girls all weekend, I have clothes laid out for everything just need to put them in a bag. However, for about the last 2 hours, my contractions have gotten stronger and all I really want to do is lay down and take a nap. That is so not happening when I sit here and think about the laundry and dishes I should be doing.

But I will be holding a little baby boy sometime tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow...

This big girls starts pre-K. She is so excited, but I am not sure if I am more excited. It will be a bitter sweet day for sure!

I am also looking forward to spending a few days alone with this precious girl. Especially since she has never had fun filled mom only days.

And then we will be meeting this little guy.

To say that our next two weeks will be eventful is probably and understatement.
