Why?
Why do we think that people's personal lives, relationships are really public business? SC Governor, Jon & Kate, John Edwards, and the list goes on. People are begging for freedom, and the top news stories involves the latest infidelities. I just don't get it. I want to hear news when I turn on the news not who cheated on who. If I want that kind of news I will read People or watch ET.

A Quiet Thursday Afternoon
What to do when both of your kids are laying quietly in their beds with snacks and a movie? I guess I should jump on that to do list of dishes, laundry and making banana pudding. Yummy banana pudding just like my Granny makes. I am sure the other things can wait. Well unless I need one of those dishes.

A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That
Blog Slacker...Guilty as charged right here.
I haven't even been reading like I use too. I'd really like to tell you I have been doing lots of relaxing here,
Although I did spend a lovely morning in one of these.
I've probably been doing a little too much sleeping and actually a lot around the house cleaning wise. You can get a lot accomplished when you stay off the Internet some.
This past weekend Mr. B and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary. We headed to St. Louis Saturday afternoon all by ourselves. We ate dinner at Pujols restaurant (he's a Cardinals player by the way) and I committed a big no no in a baseball lover's dream dinner. Across the walkway was another restaurant where they had live music playing outside. So I asked to sit outside. I was thinking romantic, my husband was thinking moron. Apparently if you are going to eat somewhere for the atmosphere it is better to experience it from the inside. Next we headed to a comedy club for a 10pm show. But not before getting some ice cream. After all was said and done we headed back to our hotel were a king sized down bed awaited, and I snuggled in for some continuous non-waking kid free hours of peaceful slumber.
Other than that and spending some quality time in our backyard discovering the muddy spots along with the shady ones life has been pretty uneventful. Two little girls keep me on my toes during the day and conked out at night. A BBQ grill that is fired up almost daily is allowing my belly to grow, and a husband who happy to take care of a blossoming garden is educating my kiddos.

June Should = Health Kids
It's June, my kids didn't get the memo. You don't get sick this time of the year. A little nagging cough has turned into a nasty croup sounding cough accompanied by 103 degree fevers. Miss L tries to tell me she feels fine, but her eyes can't lie and the sweaty mop of hair on the top of her head is a dead giveaway to the fever she just sweated out.
This morning is pretty decent, and we were suppose to go swim but those plans are now canceled. Rain is in the forecast for the afternoon and next few days. I am sure she will feel perfectly fine then. But don't forget we can't have an illness in our house that they both don't take turns passing back and forth. I bet little s will have her turn this weekend.
I bought 2 new DVDs when I went to get meds the other day. I am sure the last one will make an appearance while I catch up on house stuff.
I am also having the whole mommy guilt thing about taking them to the doctor like usual. I am pretty sure it is viral, but fevers creep me out. My girls like to run high ones.

And We Shall Call Him...
I have tried to keep my kids real names off my blog because of all the crazies out there. But I am revealing my new little man's name because I can not resist showing off my new diaper bag. It finally came today, and I can't wait to use it. I ordered it from Tweedle Totes on Etsy. She does some awesome stuff for what I thought were reasonable prices.
So from here on out, how about we call him little man k, ok?
I also ordered a bib with a minky back. I wasn't expecting the green, I have never actually seen it before in that color. But I love it. I have been a little green obsessed lately.
So from here on out, how about we call him little man k, ok?
