Twins, Twins & Sextuplets
I would however like to point out a moment in the show that brought tears to my eyes. One of the older boys (couldn't tell you which one) started to describe his sister. One of the sextuplet girls has cerebral palsy. The older brother said that so many things could have gone wrong with the sextuplets, but she took it all for them. "She took one for the team."
So if you didn't catch this show last night, I hope you get a chance to see it. Not sure if it will turn into a series, but with the way TLC has been shelling out the big bucks on big families lately I'm sure it will.

I Hate Cold
The cold has finally set in here. I hate it. The only thing of comfort I have is hot chocolate. My poor kids rarely get out of the house. I feel so sorry for them since they have a recluse mom once the weather turns cold. I only step outside if necessary, plus I hate cramming a bundled up kid into a car seat. It's not fun for me or them.

The Good, The Bad & All The In Between
We did the whole "school" routine this morning. Not sure that I have covered this before, but "school" is really and exercise class at the mall for 2-5 year olds. It is $2.50 for an hour class. I had to run by the ATM for cash to pay for the class on the way. Apparently I did not put my card back in my wallet, and it fell between my legs. I figured this out at the mall when I went to pay for a shirt and it was not there. Luckily I had enough cash, but I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest as we ran back to the car, praying it was there. It was in plain sight laying on the drivers seat.
I went to sign up for a booth for a craft show next weekend. They lost one of there locations and trying to cram everyone into one building. So there is a waiting list. I was not in the mood to pay $50 to be on a waiting list since there are a few other things I want to check out first.
Everywhere we went today my baby proved that she was Miss Independent. Little s fought with all her might not to have to get in her stroller. She refused to ride in the cart. I did let her walk some and for the most part she stays pretty close and tries to hold hands. I am just not ready for her to be so big. She is only 18 months old, but thinks she can do everything her big sis does.
On our way home we hit the McDonald's drive through. I got to the window to pay and the guy said, "It's your lucky day. The lady in front of you paid for your food." I did not believe him and thought he was just joking, but he wasn't. I can not figure out who it could be. So if for some reason you did this, and you drive a white mustang GT - Thank you so much! You made my day. I really feel like I owe someone, a pay it forward type thing. So I am sure the opportunity will present itself.
And for a little Friday Foto Fun, here are my girls sleeping together last night. They are really starting to become inseparable. I hope they always are so close. No judging the 3 1/2 year old with a binky. We have tried, really tried. But I also like to sleep, and this is the only way we do it decently.

Clean Up, clean up, everybody do your share....
UGHHH! I am stressed. I hate cleaning and my house is disgusting. I end up getting really angry at the people who made the mess and usually wind up throwing stuff away in the process. Praying I make it through the day without biting any one's head off. Well actually it might be to late for that. Maybe I will hope not to kill anyone. Nap time isn't coming fast enough today.

Thanks in Advance
Miss Lism
Miss L forgets nothing. She is constantly amazing me as she describes an event that happened over a year ago in perfect detail. Usually I don't even remember it until she refreshes my memory. These jolts down memory lane begin like this, "Remember last day......". I have yet to correct her with the appropriate wording, and I will hate the day that she is no longer using "last day" in her vocabulary. It brings a smile to my face every time I hear her say it.
So do your kids have any cute, but incorrect sayings?

Today...
I feel pride in my country that our democracy was put on display for the world to see yesterday. I think they saw the value of our freedom as pictures of my fellow citizens standing in line waiting to cast their votes flashed across their TV screens.
I am looking forward to the future, for my children's sake, and hope that our new president will keep America the best place to live. I am also hoping that he finds a way to hold up all his promises, well maybe not some of them.
So on January 20th I will do my part. I will stand behind our President and pray that God will guide his decisions according to His plan.
